Feeling a little off? The baby is covered in pimples? Your newborn's skin is flaking off? Or, you are getting haunted by the daemon, that terrorises us all: I am not photogenic. I don't look good in pictures. I don't even like to be in the pictures...
No worries. Neither do I look naturally good in pictures. But, as my great inspiration and mentor, Doug Gordon, once said:
"There are no non-photogenic people on earth. There are just some bad photographers."
Newborns have purple feet, red patches, yellow-jaundice. Babies get acne, scratch their faces, get flaky skin. Kids have liquids coming out every part of their bodies and dirt hidden in most mysterious locations. Adults... oh, they can have all of the above plus a huge luggage of self-conscious love-hate relationship with various body parts (feet, knees, thighs, noses, don't get me started). I surely drag around my share of those, so I feel your pain. And I can tell you to leave it all at home.
We live in the visual age.
We need to exist in our family albums for our kids, on social networks for our friends, on business pages for our clients.
