Little snowy secret...

Dream Come True Photo - a little snowy secret shared in the land of winter wonderland. Did you think that snow can only fall from the clouds?  The naive ones probably do fall from them occasionally; teenagers and lovers do too, when they find out that love is not an ultimate happiness bestowed on them, but actually a hard and sometimes even painful work, a daily chore to protect its gentle flame.

No-no-no.  The snow grows on trees, covering branches much like white cherry blossoms blur the tree shapes into a fragrant blurry vision.  Much like the lollipops grow on their sticks or better yet - like cotton candy hug their wooden skewers before been pushed into a dangerous proximity of a little and sweet smiling face, impatiently turned towards the sugary goodness...

Snow grows on tree branches, yes, and only then the wind invites it for an exuberant waltz circle on the great sky-high dance floor.

Still don't believe me?  I have proof: here it is!

These tree branches were still enjoying the feeling of the ticklish little snowflake hands stretching around the branches’ necks, when I spotted them while balancing my skis, my poles, my mittens and worrying if my phone will take a sudden dive down from the chair lift into the wintery fairy tale below… and I promise you, that they weren't enjoying these morning hugs before, haven't seen them there yesterday!

Just like our kids’ ones, these sweet embraces aren't meant to last.  We can't ask why.  Just deal with the consequences.  But snow is consistent only in its inconsistency.  The wind, the sun rays... one of them will seduce it eventually for a wild and very short-lived air tango.  Or maybe they would find their own peace and happiness settling down in a snowdrift, snow mound, a soft and fluffy snow blanket… eventually, it will be the branches, trying to hide their icicle tears over their gone little snowflakes...

Skiing makes things look so poetic, doesn't it?
